We understand that plans can change. If you need to postpone your wedding, your retainer can be transferred to another available date. Because we reserve your date and may turn away other clients once you book, cancellation terms are outlined in your booking agreement.

If your event is canceled and we are able to book another event for your DJ on the original date, your retainer will be refunded in accordance with the terms of your agreement.

Your remaining balance is due 10 days before your wedding. Taking care of payment in advance allows you to enjoy the celebration without worrying about payment details at the end of the night.

You can pay by credit card, check, money order, or through our convenient online portal.

Gratuities are always appreciated but never expected. Some couples choose to tip their DJ when they feel the service went above and beyond, but the decision is entirely up to you.

Your DJ will typically be on-site for eight to ten hours, including setup, performance time, and teardown. If a vendor meal is available, it is always appreciated. However, you do not need to purchase an expensive plated meal for your DJ.

If food will not be available, please let us know in advance so your DJ can bring something to eat. Any meal break will be timed carefully so it does not interfere with the flow of your event.

Stylus DJs may enjoy water, tea, lemonade, or soft drinks while working, but we do not drink alcohol at events. We are there to provide professional service from start to finish.

Setup time depends on your package, venue, and selected enhancements. We do not charge separately for standard setup or teardown time.

Your DJ will typically arrive well before your guests so the equipment can be installed, tested, and ready before your celebration begins.
